Conservative Party Endorses Putnam Valley Candidates for November Elections
On September 18, 2007, the Putnam Valley Conservative Committee announced its endorsement of candidates for this year's elections. The endorsed candidates are:
Robert Tendy for Town Supervisor (Republican) Gene Yetter for Town Council (Republican) Robert Cinque for Town Council (Independence) Eileen Royael for Town Clerk (Democrat) Louis DiCarlo for Town Justice (Blank) Earl Smith for Highway Superintendent (Republican).
Sal Santamorena, Chairman of the Conservative Committee in Putnam Valley, stated that the committee held its caucus in Putnam Valley and unanimously endorsed the candidates: Tendy, Yetter, Cinque, Royael, DiCarlo and Smith, for the upcoming election.
"Our members," Santamorena stated, "are interested in endorsing candidates that have a vision and the leadership to move our Town forward with an agenda that will benefit everyone in our community, not just the special interests."
