Fourth Unitarian Society Hosts Film Series Focusing on Racism
Starting Friday October 12, 2007, and again on the second Friday of each month, the Fourth Unitarian Society of Westchester will be hosting a film series focusing on racism and issues of equatability across racial lines.
The first film, showing on the 12th will be the first in a three part PBS series entitled Race: The Power of Illusion. The Fourth Unitarian Society has also invited Ken Mercer, from Black United Leadership, to speak about the Jena 6. Movie events at The Fourth Unitarian Society are free, but on this first evening, donations will be taken to support the defense fund of the Jena 6.
