Putnam County Land Trust Hosts Visit to Pollinator Garden at Farrell-Ross Preserve
Visit the Pollinator Garden at Putnam County Land Trust's Glenda Farrell-Henry Ross Preserve on Milltown Road in Brewster on Sunday, September 30 at 1pm. The fall flowers are at their peak and local butterflies, beetles and other numerous pollinators will be gathering pollen and nectar in the new garden designed and installed by Girl Scout Troop 1069 of Brewster. Learn about the fascinating lives of our insects and the important services they provide. A guided walk through this preserve will follow. Reservations are a must. Please Call Beth at 845-228- 5635.
The preserve may be reached from Route 22 by turning onto Milltown Road and continuing for 2.2 miles. The preserve is on the left.
