Clifford Visits Haldane's Kindergarteners and PACES Students
Clifford, the big red dog, visited Haldane kindergarten and PACES students on September 19.
Dr. Mark Villanti, Haldane's new Superintendent of Schools, was a very animated Clifford. Mrs. Maggie Davis, Elementary School Principal, (aka Emily Elizabeth) escorted Clifford from room to room and read Clifford's Birthday Party by Norman Bridwell to the children. The teachers enhanced Clifford's visit by having the children create Clifford drawings and paintings, introducing them to numerous Clifford books and also singing a song about him. The children were delighted by Clifford's visit. Clifford highlighted the Scholastic Book Fair at Haldane.
