PVHS Senior Jackson Gilman-Forlini Selected for Two Prestigious Vocal Ensembles

Putnam Valley High School's Music Department is delighted to announce that talented vocalist and PVHS senior, Jackson Gilman-Forlini, has been accepted into two highly competitive choral ensembles.

Jackson is the first PVHS student to be accepted into the NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) All- State Chorus. He will be performing at the annual NYSSMA winter conference in Rochester, in December. In addition, Jackson has been accepted into the ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Eastern Division Honor Choir, comprising students from the Middle Atlantic and New England states. Jackson will perform with this group at the biennial Eastern Division conference in Hartford, Connecticut, in February.

These two major accomplishments are in addition to his having performed last year with the NYSSMA Area All-State Chorus in Carmel and the ACDA National Honor Choir in Miami, Florida. Proud PVHS Choral Director Gerard Micera stated, "Our red-haired tenor has done it again. Congratulations to Jackson and his family for this stellar achievement!"
