Eileen Royael is a Candidate for PV Town Clerk
Eileen Royael of Putnam Valley has announced that she is a candidate for Town Clerk this November. The following is her candidate statement:
"My name is Eileen Royael, and I am running for Town Clerk for the Town of Putnam Valley. I am proud to say that I have received the endorsements from the Republican, Democrat, Independence and Conservative Parties.
"I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself. My family and I moved to Putnam Valley 25 years ago, and here we raised our family and volunteer for the community in various ways. I am presently the District Clerk for the Town of Putnam Valley since 1998.
"As the District Clerk, I have had the opportunity to work and get to know the people in my community. I come to this position with the experience of managing budgets, serving the public, dealing with bid proposal & grants, producing the minutes from meetings, working with taxes and always eager to learn new things.
"The past couple of months have been extremely busy outside of my normal workload. I have gained so much more information from the different classes I have attended given by the New York State Archives and Notary Public Central.
"With your support, I want to bring a smooth transition to the Town Clerk's office and will continue to serve the people of Putnam Valley."
