Election Workers Needed for General Election

The Putnam County Board of Elections is in need of Election Workers for General Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Election workers are employed in every election district at all polling sites in Carmel, Kent, Patterson, Philipstown, Putnam Valley and Southeast.

To be an election worker you must be a resident of Putnam County, at least eighteen (18) years of age, a registered voter in either the Democratic or Republican party, able to read and speak English and to write legibly. Working hours are from 5:30am to 9:30pm.

New York State Election Law requires attendance every year at the General Election training conducted by the Board of Elections.
