Have You Reserved Your Tickets to Haldane Foundation's A View to the Future At Cat Rock Castle?
There are a few tickets remaining to The Haldane School Foundation benefit for the Haldane Playground at Cat Rock Castle this Sunday, October 14th from 2 to 5pm.
Cat Rock, a fieldstone English style mansion with crenellated towers built in 1919 by Frederick Henry Osborn, is known for its spectacular views stretching from New York City to the Catskill Mountains and, of course, the Hudson River. In this exquisite setting, the Foundation will host a cocktail party with entertainment by Karl's Circus Comedy and live music from Tenor James Mechalakos.
A silent auction is planned to help to make the future of the Haldane School playground a reality. The auction will feature items that focus on fitness and athletics, including ski packages, yoga lessons, kayaking adventures and sports memorabilia as well as "evening out" packages that include tickets to events and dinner. Guests will also be able to "buy" pieces of the new playground equipment throughout the afternoon.
Tickets for the event are $50 and available through Lynn Felter, 265-2976 or at the Julia L. Butterfield Memorial Library. Checks should be made out to The Haldane School Foundation and can be mailed to Haldane School Foundation, PO Box 364, Cold Spring, NY 10516. Hurry before the tickets disappear!
