Robert Cinque Runs for Putnam Valley Town Board
The following is his statement:

" Robert Cinque has a plan to preserve Putnam Valley's rural character, and its finances as well.

"'I love this town, and we have a great opportunity to broaden the tax base and keep the things we love most," he said recently. "With all the programs and events that we've held at our Town Park, we've not only provided recreation for our residents, but we've also attracted many people from other towns, who can see for themselves what a beautiful place this is. The next step is to welcome shops to the corners of our towns, so that these visitors can spend money here and help us pay for our town services and schools."

"Cinque also proposes an "open door" policy at Town Hall. "If you have a problem with town services, someone should be available to discuss it with you, and seek solutions," he said. "'There's nothing we can do' is not an acceptable answer. With the amount of taxes our citizens pay, they should get their money's worth. We can't promise the moon, but we can promise we'll give every problem full and fair consideration."

"Cinque is an attorney with the Sayegh firm in Carmel, and has argued appeals that have set precedents in New York state law. He is also a member of the executive board of Putnam Valley Arts, and has served on the Sunset Series Committee.

"Cinque has been nominated by the Republican, Independence and Conservative parties for town council in the upcoming election."
