Nobel Peace Laureate
Dear Editor:
In awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to former Vice President Al Gore for his efforts regarding climate change, the Nobel committee recognized Mr. Gore's great contribution in trying to alert the world to this danger if we do not take immediate steps to reverse the man-made environmental damage to our planet.
What made me think what a different world we would be living in today if not for hanging chads/butterfly ballots and a conniving Supreme Court.
