Reservoir Dogs Sweep Ardsley
The Reservoir Dogs improved to 9 wins and 4 loses in Westchester Baseball Association league play with a doubleheader sweep over Ardsley 12- 3 and 4-0.
In the first game, the Dogs were led on offense by Matt Forlow who homered and doubled while driving in three runs. Ian Thom went two for three with two doubles, two runs scored and one run batted in. Ryan Koval and Bayley Semple each contributed a single.
In the second game the Dogs received strong pitching by Forlow and Thom who combined for the three hit shut-out. Each pitcher worked three innings, Forlow struck out five and Thom seven. At the plate Matt Forlow and Ryan Koval each had a single and one run batted in.
The Dogs complete their regular season this weekend with a pair of single games. On Saturday they travel to Pelham and then on Sunday they visit Armonk. The Dogs are currently in 4th place in the 14- team league.
