Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Presents Program on Caring for Injured and Orphaned Wild Birds Garrison's Suzie Gilbert to talk about her experiences as wildlife rehabilitator
Join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum on Thursday, November 1, at 7:30pm. at Painter's Tavern, Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, for an Evening Speakers Series: Caring for Injured and Orphaned Wild Birds: Tales from the Front Lines. Join Wildlife Rehabilitator, Suzie Gilbert as she discusses wildlife rehabilitation and her experiences in a fascinating slide presentation.
Ms. Gilbert has worked as a volunteer for the Hudson Valley Raptor Center for 11 years, then was licensed by the State and Federal Governments as a Wildlife Rehabilitator. She has been working out of her home for the past 6 years. Suzie has cared for all kinds of birds, from Great Blue Herons to Great Horned Owls, and from Blackcapped Chickadees to Wood Ducks.
All Evening Speakers Series events take place on Thursdays, 7:30pm at Painter's Tavern, Hudson Street, Cornwall-on- Hudson, NY. Limited Seating- Come early! General admission $7, Museum members $4.
