"Pumpkins on Parade" Carving and Flotilla Halloween Parade Event in Cold Spring Scenic Hudson sponsors the fun in Foundry Park just prior to Halloween Parade
Scenic Hudson invites all Halloween fans to join a free event at its Foundry Dock Park, Cold Spring, on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 2-4pm. Join Scenic Hudson and your neighbors just prior to Cold Spring's Halloween Parade to carve a pumpkin and have it included in a jacko' lantern flotilla where the carved masterpieces will be towed up river from the park to arrive at the Cold Spring pier as an innovative and fun display at the end of the parade. Bring the kids in costume, carve a pumpkin and still be able to participate in the parade. The community group Building Boats, Building Bridges will manage the flotilla.
Free pumpkins, carving tools and refreshments provided. The flotilla is limited to the first 20 jack-o'-lanterns completed. Please RSVP by Thursday, Oct. 25, with Vicki at 845-473-4440, ext. 270, or vmuller@scenichudson.org.
