Is The Town Turning A Blind Eye?
Dear Editor:

Why has Tim Miller, the town planner who we pay more than $100,000 per year as a consultant, been hired by the developers of Quarry Pond? Doesn't Quarry Pond have a huge project on Route 9 up before the very planning board he also works for?

How can Mr. Miller represent both the town planning board and the developer? Which side of the fence is Mr. Miller on, the Town's or the Developer? Why does Mr. Mazzucca protect Mr. Miller's over-paid position with the town? Wouldn't it make more sense to hire an engineer who could be our planner, building department physical engineer, and code enforcement consultant? Does Mr. Mazzuca turn a blind eye to Mr. Miller's conflict of interest or is Mr. Miller laughing all the way to the bank?
