Nat Prentice: a Positive Voice for Town Board
Dear Editor:

Over the course of the past month or so, I have read the Letters To the Editor pages, the campaign flyers, the political ads, and the lawn signs all prompting me to consider the candidates for the upcoming election of Town Board members.

I have also spoken directly to the individuals running for the open positions. What I have concluded in a snapshot is this: our Town Board is NOT poorly managed, the depth and pool of candidates is strong and there is simply too much negativity in politics. Elections should be about what we can accomplish and how we can bring about positive change in specifics.

With regard to our Town Board choices one candidate seems to have expressed himself clearly and I believe offers a very positive, transparent approach to governing. Nat Prentice is a smart, hard working individual who would offer a good balance to the Town Board. His strong financial and analytical skills can only be an asset to the ever-complicated world of balancing revenues and expenses in our municipal budgets. Nat's positive approach to problem solving and listening to all sides of an argument is a trait that is necessary in serving the public.

Politics has unfortunately become very partisan and negative nationally and, to some extent, locally, as well. I believe Nat will offer a positive approach to problem solving and can serve our varied community interests well. I encourage you to give Nat a look www.natprentice.com before voting on November 6.
