Garrison Boys Soccer Team Undefeated
By Jill Heitmann

The 7th and 8th grade boys at the Garrison Union Free School remain undefeated since the season opened on October 3, 2007. Their record now is 4 wins, 0 losses, and 1 tie.

Coached by the school's veteran athletic director, Pete Disch, who has been with Garrison since 1982, the boys soccer team has most certainly improved this year.

The new 7th grade boys have high quality ability and are fueled with finesse, speed, and strength. With Christopher Delamater as forward and scoring in every game (sometimes 2 or 3 times), and Jake Heitmann and Avery Anderson as sweepers, this team has dominated in every game this season. Other talented 7th graders are Drew Ford, Graydon Cook, Casey Gell, Phil Lewis, Jack Bynum, Simon Close, Matt Chason, Richard Stiehl, and Justin Voelpe.

8th graders, including Matt Donovan, Dylan Culp, Gavin Brower, Jack Quigley, Andre Adams, Wil Hoffman, Kyle Downey, Sam Stafford, Sasha Kleszy, and Max Bass continue to display incredible talent and are true leaders and examples to the 7th grade boys.
