O' Neill Girls JV Soccer Posts Two Wins

On Monday October 15, the O'Neill Raiders hosted Liberty. The Raiders took control of the game early and never let go. The final score was 7-0. Siera Dillman recorded her 2nd hat trick of the season. She put in 2 unassisted goals by hard work and determination. Her other goal was put in off an assist by Anna Biehle. Lindsey Crill found the back of the net twice for her first goals of the season. She put in a pass from Avery Giordonello, and then lofted a shot over the keeper from Siera Dillman. Christina Tenuta put in her first goal of the season from a good pass off the foot of Briana Vargas. The final goal came from Olivia Janicelli off a cross from hard working Sarah Bosch. Lindsey Phillips had a goal line slide to prevent the shot from Liberty going into the net to help Andrea Constantinou record her 4th shut out of the season.

Wednesday October 17, found the JV squad at home against Tri-Valley. The team has really developed and is finding their rhythm. They won by a score of 5-0. The first goal was put in by lead scorer Siera Dillman with an assist by 8th grader Linsdey Crill. Captain Holly Fraser buried a penalty kick into the net for the second goal. The 3rd and 4th goals both came from almost identical plays with Olivia Janicelli scoring both goals off great passes from 8th grader Anna Biehle. Christina Tenuta put in the final goal off a far side shot that hit the post and went past the keeper to seal the game.
