Spring Flowering Deer- Resistant Bulbs Available from Cornell Cooperative Extension, Putnam County
There is an opportunity to obtain some fabulous Spring flowering, deer-resistant bulbs for just $5 per bag. The quantity depends on the variety purchased:
Hyacinth (3 per bag) - 'Gypsy Queen', salmon color Frittilaria acmopetals (3 per bag) - Frittilary
Daffodils (5 per bag) - 'Fortune', big yellow daffodil; 'Fragrant Mixture' double flowers; 'Geranium', little white daffodil
Eranthus hyemalis (10 per bag) - Winter Aconite Iris reticulata 'Pixie' (10 per bag) - Dwarf iris Leucojum aestivum (10 per bag) - Summer snowflake
Muscari armeniacum (15 per bag) - grape hyacinth Muscari mixture (15 per bag) - Grape hyacinth
Easy instructions on how to correctly plant the bulbs are available along with a brief description of the bulbs including the 'blooming' period.
