Garrison School 7th Graders Take in Spectacular View at Anthony's Nose
Last week, Mr. Keegan's 7th graders at the Garrison School took their annual trip to Anthony's Nose. This monumental hike which is taken each year provides students with the opportunity to view one of the most spectacular views in the Hudson Valley and perhaps even in the whole world. This year, the students enjoyed viewing over 400 birds during the Annual Bird migration. This year the students had the chance to view accipitors, buteos, hawks, ravens, crows, blue jays, cormerans, a bald eagle and vultures. The highlight of the trip was when the students spotted a golden eagle. The beauty of the day during the height of the fall season provided the students the opportunity of a lifetime.
