Poughkeepsie Day School to Hold Admissions Information Session
Poughkeepsie Day School announces a fall Admissions information Session to be held in Gilkeson Center on Thursday, November 8 at 7pm. Families of students interested in learning about the school's prekindergarten through 12th grade program are invited to come to meet Josie Holford, Head of School, other administrators and faculty, and tour the school. Procedures for applying for admission and financial assistance will also be discussed. Poughkeepsie Day School, founded in 1934 by members of Vassar College's child study department, is an independent, college-preparatory school for 350 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The program develops citizens with a passion for learning and living. The cornmunity demands integrity, responsibility and mutual respect. Poughkeepsie Day School is located at 260 Boardman Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
