Roberta Moffatt Fleming Smith, age 96, of Jupiter, FLpassed away Saturday, September 29, 2007 at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA, was raised in Cold Spring, where she later married Claude K. Smith and they raised their three daughters, Claudia S. Hopper of The Villages, FL, Roberta
Bobbette) M. Smith Gifford of Sacramento, CA and Priscilla B. Smith of Jupiter, FL. Roberta is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, two sons and one daughter.
Mrs. Smith was a retired banker for many years at the former Bank of Stuart. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tequesta where she was active with the Crafty Ladies. A Celebration of her Life was held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on October 4, 2007. Her resting place is at the Cold Spring Cemetery in Cold Spring. The family suggests that any contributions in honor of Roberta be made to Vitas Hospice, 1901 S. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach, FL33426 or the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 400 Seabrook Rd., Tequesta, FL33469.
