Starlight Foundation Brings Carmel Boy to Sports Auction
John Golzio, 11 years old of Carmel, recently attended the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation NY*NJ*CT 18th Annual Celebrity Sports Auction at Madison Square Garden on October 30. At the auction, John had the opportunity to meet Sean Avery (NY Rangers), Jerricho Cotchery (NY Jets), Jamal Crawford (NY Knicks), Hunter Freeman (NY Redbulls), and many other celebrity athletes.
The auction raised nearly $400,000 to help seriously ill children in the tri-state area. All proceeds generated at the event will be used to fund the children's programs and services that the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation provides to better the lives of seriously ill children in the NY, NJ, and CT area.
