Beacon Hebrew Alliance Makes Chanukah Shopping Easy at Their Gift Shop
Chanukah shopping is easy at the Beacon Hebrew Alliance gift shop. Candles, regular and electric menorahs, chocolate gelt, games, crafts, plastic and decorative dreidels, giftware, toys and more are available. The shop will order anything that is not currently in stock, however, since Chanukah is early this year (Dec. 4-11), orders should be placed before Thanksgiving to ensure delivery in time. The gift shop will be open by appt., as well as Sun., Nov. 18, Sun., Dec. 2, and Sun., Dec. 9 from 9:30am to 1pm. Please call Susan Bernstein (914)474-6763 with any questions or to make an appt.
A Coffee Klatch will be held at the Beacon Hebrew Alliance Synagogue on Saturday, November 17, at 7:30pm. Refreshments will be served and there will be activities for the children. The cost is $5 per person. To make reservations, call Michele Cohen at 462-7004.
