Food for Thought - Food for the Future Forum at Glynwood Center A workshop for community leaders, farmers, and local officials in the Hudson Valley
In this workshop, speakers and participants will discuss the impacts of climate change on agriculture in the Hudson Valley, and ways that community planning can approach these changes. The featured speakers are Dr. Cynthia Rosenzweig of NASA/Goddard and Joel Russell, a nationally known community planner and land use lawyer. Several Hudson Valley farmers will share their experiences with climate change and the steps they are taking to deal with its effects. The workshop will take place on Saturday, December 1 from 10am-3pm at the Glynwood Center, in Cold Spring.
