On Friday November 2 the Garrison modified soccer team completed an undefeated season, battling Beacon to a 2-2 overtime tie. Beacon entered the game with a perfect record, while Garrison had been tied early in the season by Poughkeepsie.

Chris Delamater and Dylan Culp each scored a goal, while Garrison's tough defense frustrated a polished Beacon team with solid defensive work led by Matt Donovan, Gavin Brower, Avery Anderson and Jake Heitmann. Jack Quigley helped keep the pressure on the Beacon defensive with solid forward play. Coach Pete Disch's intensity provided leadership for the team. Wil Hoffmann made several spectacular saves in goal. Even though Garrison dominated the overtime periods, the game ended in a tie.

During this season, Garrison had victories over Pawling (3 times), Dover, Peekskill, Solomon Schechter School, Poughkeepsie, and Pocantico Hills School. The team was tied early in the season by Poughkeepsie and Beacon in the final game.

Congratulations to Pete Disch, Coach, and the seventh and eighth grade players. Everyone is looking forward to another great season in the Fall of 2008.
