Inspire Yourself to Create a Beautiful Flower Arrangement

The Philipstown Garden Club invites you to a special demonstration given by Cathy Miller at the Garrison Fire House this Sunday.

Cathy Miller is an avid gardener, lecturer and author. Her creations and articles have graced many dozens of national magazines including Family Circle, Better Homes & Gardens, Gardening & Outdoor Living, Victorian Homes, Brides and Womens Day Special Publications.

She has appeared on 32 TV shows and is actively engaged in presenting warmly received demo programs all over this country.

Though she has received many blue ribbons for her designs, including the coveted Tricolor and Creativity Awards, she believes creating some 62 dried garden flower arrangements for the White House is her greatest achievement.

She shares her love for gardening with her love of family and music; the latter being part of her family heritage.

Her book, Harvesting, Preserving & Arranging Dried Flowers is now in second printing. It is highly endorsed by Barbara Bush and Ralph Snodsmith of WOR radio, Garden Hotline.

Cathy resides in Hawthorne, N.J. with her husband, Charles and grows all her own flowers on their upstate New York farm.

The flower arranging demonstration will take place on Sunday, November 18 at 1pm at the Garrison Fire House, Route 9, Garrison. The presentation is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
