Talk of the Town
A little white dusting of snow greeted people in the higher elevations this past week. Winter can't be far behind. Its always nice when snow is the harbinger of the holidays, rather than the big mall displays that seem to go up immediately after Halloween.
Our Thanksgiving greetings edition (yes, its that soon!) will be next week. We have an early deadline at the PCN&R, this Friday, Nov. 16, so that the staff can take a break and visit family. Don't worry though, the paper will be on the stand in time for the holiday.
Edward Finch, Joyce Starr Vesely, Kyle Kanuck, Kaitlyn Kanuk, Marie Tompkins,
Brian Costello, Kelly Conklin, Byron Brester, Vic Vanzo, Cassie Barcavage, Ryan Patrick Allen, Francine Solis and Jon Kiphart are all celebrating their birthdays this week. Congrats to all. Oh - not to be forgotten, though he got his picture on the front page this week, Danny Valentine is turning another year wiser this Saturday. Congrats Danny!
