Haldane Alumni Basketball Game Takes Place on Thanksgiving Weekend
The second annual Haldane Alumni Basketball Game will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Haldane High School gym. This very exciting event begins at 5pm with an exhibition by both the Varsity Boys and Girls basketball teams. This is an excellent way to meet your players for the upcoming season. Homemade meatball wedges and other tasty treats will be served throughout the evening and Blue Devil Towels will be available for purchase.
The evening culminates with the exciting Alumni game. Last year's game was a real thriller with a mix of male and female participants from teams throughout Haldane history. There is no entry fee to play but you must have been a member of either the Varsity Boys or Girls basketball teams your senior year of high school. Participants will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis by e-mailing Coach Joe Virgadamo a t jvirgadamo@haldane.lhric.org or calling 265-9254 x129.
Admission to the festivities is $5 for adults and $2 for students. The event is sponsored by Haldane Boys Basketball. So come spend a fun-filled evening of basketball, have a little dinner and a few laughs while watching Haldane's former hoopsters hit the court one more time.
