Chapel Opens Its Doors to All on November 24

The Chapel of Our Lady Restoration will open its doors to all on Saturday, November 24, from 2 to 7pm. From 3 to 4:30pm, guest harpist Joy Plaisted will play holiday music for the pleasure of those who come and go. The unique tracker-action pipe organ is itself one of the chapel's treasures. Entry is free of charge.

"We invite the community with family and friends to come and experience the Chapel's beauty and serenity," said Gail Greet Hannah, President of its Board of Directors. "If you have ever been curious about what this wonderful building is like inside, this is a great opportunity to find out. For new visitors and old, this day at the start of the holiday season is a fine time to sit in splendid repose for a short time before the rush of the season begins."

The Chapel, which welcomes everyone on this day, is also a participant in Cold Spring by Candlelight, an event sponsored by PARC. For participants in this event, the building is a feature along with other attractions, including several historic houses in the village. The Chapel of Our Lady Restoration is at 45 Market Street, Cold Spring. There is free parking available at the adjacent Metro North railroad station.
