Talk of the Town
This week, the talk of the town has been the untimely death of Cold Spring Sergeant Darrel Burris. We all have to struggle with unexpectedly losing someone who had become a fixture in the community. Some of us are called to action and try to help out in any way we can, others deal with the loss in quiet private ways. Either way, Darrel will not be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of caring, professional service that will be hard to replace. The expression - 'hard to fill those shoes' is doubly true when we think of Darrel.
