Women are Thriving in Current Political Climate
Dear Editor:
With all due respect to the fine gentlemen who have served as Philipstown Councilmen in the past, in light of Ms. Montgomery's and Ms. Scuccimarra's recent victories (and Ms. Lilburne's third place finish), perhaps it is time to do away with the antiquated term "Councilman" and employ in its place "Council-Lady" to more accurately reflect the current political climate in our fair town. Girls rock.
