Afred "Fritzy" Nastasi

Alfred "Fritzy" Nastasi, age 77, a life long Cold Spring resident passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Born September 4, 1930 in Cold Spring, he was the son of the late James and Caroline (Barone) Nastasi.

Mr. Nastasi was a Technician for IBM in Poughkeepsie, having retired after 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Ryan) Nastasi, of the home address. They were married on August 15, 1954 at St. John's Church in Beacon, NY. In addition to his wife his is survived by two sons, Anthony Nastasi and Thomas Nastasi, both of Cold Spring, two daughters, Patricia Campbell of Cold Spring, and Karen Smith of Walden, NY, two brothers, Sal Nastasi of Yorktown, NY, and Silvio Nastasi of Newburgh, NY, three sisters, Nina Kearsey, Viola Fastoso, and Mildred Colonna, all of Beacon, NY, and ten grandchildren. One brother, Anthony Nastasi and five sisters, Valentina Just, Julia Ciancio, Gloria Nastasi, Rose Ciancio, and Anita Nastasi predeceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10am on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, followed by interment in Cold Spring Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
