Haldane Football Team Falls to Ticonderoga in Semi- Finals
 | | Haldane's Robert Percacciolo, a senior captain and the Blue Devils' starting quarterback, is hounded by a pair of Ticonderoga defenders in a 35-8 loss against Section 7's Ticonderoga last Friday night at Dietz Stadium in Kingston during the NYSPHSAA Class D state semifinals. The Blue Devils (4-6) miracle run toward the Carrier Dome came to a screeching halt when Ticonderoga (10-2) hit the Haldane secondary for three TD passes and 107 yards. Chances are, with a team as youthful as the Blue Devils were this season, they'll be back at Dietz Stadium again next year representing Section 1 in the state tournament, provided the off-season training goes according to plan. |
