Highland Garden Club Busy With Christmas Activities
Decorated wreaths to be sold on Main Street

The members of the Highlands Garden Club have been hard at work decorating locallymade natural pine Christmas wreaths to sell at the foot of Main Street on Sunday, December 1 from 11am until 4pm (or until supplies run out). The 18- inch wreaths will sell for $15 and 24-inch wreaths for $20.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to plant and and maintain the flower beds surrounding the bandstand, the barrels on the waterfront and the war memorial on Main Street. Advance orders can be placed by calling 265-9318.

The Garden Club members have also been busy making origami "presents" to hang on the Garden Club's tree at Butterfield Library, to add to the festive atmosphere for everyone.
