Local Residents Amongst the Cast of The Jeweler's Shop Musical

The musical adaptation of Pope John Paul II's play about love is being performed by an Off Broadway cast at Our Lady of Loretto church on Sunday, December 9 at 2pm. Following the performance a reception is going to be held in the Parish Hall to enable those attending the "Pop Pope Musical" an opportunity to interact with the play's 7-member cast, the director, the composers of the original songs, George Gordon, the producer and Nancy Wareham-Gordon, the Associate Producer. Refreshments will be served.

Three members of the cast are from Philipstown. John Lane from Cold Spring has a lead as "Adam". He has appeared in productions at The Depot Theatre, most recently in Man of La Mancha.

Dan Anderson, of Garrison has the challenging role of "Stephan",. He also performs at the Depot Theatre and he has worked with James Earl Jones in Driving Miss Daisy.

Chloe Wareham-Gordon is "Chloe' in the musical. She dances and sings as the 12-yearold sister at her sister's wedding to "Christopher". Chloe studied ballet at Skidmore College and voice as a member of the Cappella Choir at Vassar College. She resides in Garrison.
