Final Weekend for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at Depot Theatre

A magical treat for the whole family, C. S. Lewis' The Lion the Witch, and The Wardrobe will be performed for one final weekend at the Philipstown Depot Theatre in Garrison this coming weekend, on December 7, 8 and 9. A great way to kick off the holiday season, this gorgeous adaptation of the classic story, adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette, is performed by a talented group of our community's young actors.

The play will delight children as young as four and adults of all ages. Lynn Hawley directs with skillful assurance and humor, and Charlotte Palmer- Lane and Monica Mahoney have created an array of delightful and imaginative costumes. The enchanted set by designer Dana Kenn draws the audience into the intimate world of Narnia. Joe Levy designs the lighting, Allison Jacoby and Amy Dul assist, and Xena Petkanas, and Nick Marino skillfully man the sound and lights.

The young energetic cast consists of Isabella Adler, Isabella Convertino, Olivia Donovan, Samantha Leigh Ford, Emma Garshagen, Greta Garshagen, Emma Jacoby, Sara Jacoby, Kiran Kilantri, Matthew Koval, Sonya Kuzminski, Alec Lane, Finn Lovell, Allison Marino, Matthew Marino, Jack Miller, Anya Ptacek, Sophia Ptacek, Wylie Thornquist, and Sophia Traina.

Performances are December 7 at 7pm, December 8 at 2pm and 4:30pm, and Dec. 9 at 2pm. Tickets are available for $10 at the Depot Theatre Box Office; call 424-3900 to reserve.
