North Highlands Eng. Co. #1 Takes Part in Putnam Lake's Annual Holiday Parade
On Saturday night, December 1, 2007, The North Highlands Eng. Co. #1 participated in Putnam Lake Volunteer Fire Departnent's First Annual Holiday Parade. Neighboring fire departments were invited to participate in this festive event and although only a few companies attended, all looked wonderful!
The members of the North Highlands Eng. Co. #1 had lots of fun decorating their oldest pumper, with lights, a Santa and many other holiday decorations. Trophies were awarded for various categories and North Highlands took home 'The Snowball' award, which was for the farthest traveled.
Many compliments were received for the efforts and results of all apparatus involved. For those that were not able to attend the parade, be sure to keep an eye out for the North Highlands Eng. Co. #1 decorated truck....you just might see it traveling around during the holiday evenings!
