Philipstown's Conservation Advisory Council Will Welcome EPA Representative to December 11 Meeting
Dr. Maria Theising, EPA Regional Ecologist, will join the members of the Philipstown Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30pm at the Philipstown Town Hall in Cold Spring. Dr. Theising will give a brief, informative talk about wetland types, the wetlands and headwater streams found in Philipstown and who regulates them, and then take questions from the audience and CAC members. The CAC's regular meeting will take place immediately following her address. The CAC is a volunteer committee of the Town of Philipstown that meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Philipstown Town Hall. All CAC meetings are open to the public.
