Four Farms Cooperate to Assure the Annual Living Nativity's Success

The Philipstown and Putnam Valley community is invited to come, enjoy, sing and commune with the animals at 4pm on Sunday, December 16.

The beautiful setting of Risi Saunders' White Gate Farm on Old Albany Post Road and South Highland Turnpike will be the venue, hosted as usual by Sandy Saunders.

The Reverend Frank Geer will again officiate, narrate and direct the visitors and musicians in caroling and reliving the story of the first Christmas.

Leona Dushin's Manitou Farm and her students will take parts in the reinactment. Dr. Mary Finger's 4-H Club, Barnyard Critters, will provide shepherds and their charges. Bernie "Uncle Zip" Zipkin, owner of Mahopac Farm, will let loose his furry creatures as a petting zoo following the performance.

Live musicians and song sheets will accompany the readers. Dress warmly and prepare for a huge event.
