County Schedules Free Flu Vaccine Clinic In Western Putnam
The Putnam County Department of Health is planning a second free public flu vaccine clinic. Flu vaccine will be offered free at this clinic since the New York State Department of Health has supplied the vaccine at no charge. Only pregnant women will require a prescription from their physician. Prescriptions are not required for all other individuals.
All persons 9 years of age and older will be eligible to receive flu vaccine at this clinic. No pneumonia vaccine will be administered at this clinic. The clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Garrison Fire Department on Route 9 in Garrison. The clinic will take place between 3 and 7pm.
