Putnam County Attorney Carl Lodes Retires
Putnam County Executive Bob Bondi announced on December 7, 2007 that he has accepted the resignation of the Putnam County Attorney Carl Lodes.
"I feel truly honored to have had the privilege of working with Carl these past seventeen years," stated Bondi. "Carl has been a trusted friend and advisor in my Administration for the past seventeen years and his diligent efforts have allowed me to do my job as County Executive with confidence and conviction."
Mr. Lodes' will leave his position as of 11:59pm on February 1, 2008. In his letter to the County Executive, Mr. Lodes remarked on the "many memories" he will carry with him from his seventeen years as County Attorney.
"Carl has been more than a colleague," said Bondi, "he has been a very dear friend and I know that I speak for all the employees in the County when I say he will be sorely missed."
