Garden Clubs Combine to Bring Holiday Décor to Putnam Hospital Center
For over 30 years, members of area garden clubs have spread holiday cheer to the patients and visitors at Putnam Hospital Center by decorating trees for display in reception areas. On hand for this year's always eagerly anticipated tradition were Lake Mahopac Garden Club (left) members, pictured, from left to right, Beverly Bonnes, Cathie Gottschalk, Diana Dwyer and Sheena Vermandois who decorated a tree for the Carmel hospital's Emergency Department waiting area. Brewster-Carmel Garden Club members Dimmy Lotrecchiano, Edna Fox, Elaine Krueger, Maureen Durkin and Mary Barrett also participated, decorating a tree for the Ambulatory Surgery lobby.
