Meet Artist Sean Fitzgerald at East Fishkill Library
On Friday January 4, 2008 at 7pm, come to the East Fishkill Library to meet artist Sean Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald is a freelance artist with a degree in Fine Arts. His preferred medium is pen and ink, which allows him to produce the extreme detail in each drawing that he strives to depict. Fitzgerald, who happens to be color blind, employs the pointillism technique in black and white for his works. He greatly enjoys baseball and it features in his work as well as other family and Christian themes. Former Yankee Paul O'Neill has commissioned Fitzgerald to do works. as have several other noted personalities. His work will be on exhibit for the month of January.
Regular business hours on Friday are 10-6. The Library will reopen at 7pm for the reception. (Sorry, no other library business will be transacted at that time). Chartered in 1938, the East Fishkill Community Library is a member of the Mid-Hudson Library System.
The library is located at 348 Route 376 in Hopewell Junction. Library hours are Monday - Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am- 6pm, and Saturday 10am-5pm.
