Ethnic Cooking Sessions with Renowned Chef at Temple Beth-El

On Thursdays January 3, 17, and 31st Temple Beth-El, Poughkeepsie, will hold 3 varied ethnic cooking sessions. In these classes you will not only learn how to cook, but also dine on the culinary masterpieces of renowned Chef Fritz Sonnenschmidt, CMC, CCE, and AAC.

Chef Sonnenschmidt has been deeply involved for over 50 years in the culinary field. He is one of the very few Certified Master Chefs in Americaa remarkable professional distinction. Additionally Chef Sonnenschmidt was Culinary Dean at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) located in Hyde Park.

Fritz has authored numerous books including The Professional Chefs Art of Garde Manger, 6th Edition, Dining with Sherlock Homes, Sherlock Holmes at the CIA and The American Harvest Cookbook. Several books are in progress and will be published in 2007 including a kosher cookbook.

The cost for each session is $50 and will be from 6:30- 9:30pm on January 3, 17, and 31. Advance paid registration is required, and space is limited to the first 20 people. Contact the Temple Beth-El office at 454-0570.
