Gift Drive Benefits Children of Saint Basil Academy
A gift drive to benefit the children of Saint Basil Academy was headed this year by McGuires On Main. Tana, Mandy and Shaun McGuire requested a "wish list" of gifts from the students at the Academy for their patrons to sponsor. Little red stockings with each child's name and wish list item were hung on their Christmas tree and patrons chose a name and purchased gifts. The gifts were presented to the children on December 14. Saint Basil Academy is a residential child-care facility in Garrison. There are currently 28 residents. If you would like more information about the Academy please call 424-3500.
