Cold Spring Cub Scouts Wolf Den 2 Have Been Busy Boys This Year

The Cub Scouts from Cold Spring, Den 2 have been working very hard this year. Members of the Wolf Den include Michael Chefalo, Mario Cofini, Nicholas DiPalo, Liam Irwin, Luke Junjulas, Anthony Lombardo, AJ Vitiello and Jared Wigdor.

In October, the Scouts participated in the Scouting for Food program, along with the other dens in the Manitoga District. Thanks to the generosity of our local community, the District donated almost 40 bags of food and over $100 to Putnam CAP. In November, the Scouts went on a hike through Fahnestock Park, learning about maps, compasses and trail markings.

As pictured above, the Scouts decorated gingerbread houses in December that were put on display in the Poughkeepsie Galleria and auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity.

Thanks to the parents for all their help and the Nelsonville Town Hall for allowing us a meeting place. The Scouts hope to have even more fun in the new year!
