Advocacy Attorney Speaks at AD/HD Support Meeting
CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder) of Putnam and Vicinity will hold its next meeting on Tuesday January 8 at the Four Winds Hospital Conference Center, Route 35, Katonah. Note that this month's meeting will be the 2nd Tuesday instead of the normal 1st Tuesday.
The topic will be: "A Detailed Discussion of Special Education Rights, Responsibilities and Advocating for Your Child: An Advanced Workshop" (part 2 of the series on advocacy)
Speaker: Sheryl R. Frishman, Esq. of the law firm of Frishman & Faber. Practice devoted entirely to the advocacy and life planning needs of children and adults with disabilities and their families. Co-sponsored by Putnam Independent Living Services' Parent Training Program
