Attend Town Board Meeting and Make Your Voice Heard
To The Editor:
I urge all community members who are interested in the future of Philipstown's planning and development to take advantage of an opportunity to share their concerns with the Town Board this week. Please attend the Thursday, December 27th Year-End meeting at the VFW Hall on Kemble Avenue, Cold Spring, at 7:30pm.
As has been reported in the PCN&R, the Town Board has been considering a change in the Town Planner. They have interviewed two prospective firms over the past month, the Chazen Companies, of Poughkeepsie, and AKRF, of White Plains. The Board is expected to make a decision before January 1 to either continue to use Tim Miller & Associates, or to hire one of these new firms. Those who want a change or have an opinion on this matter should be at this meeting to let the Board know that there is significant public sentiment on this issue.
Please make an effort to be there and to make your voice heard.
