St. Philip's Church Sponsors Work Group to New Orleans
Sore muscles, skinned knuckles, and very full hearts were some of the souvenirs that thirteen volunteers from St. Philip's Church in Garrison brought back from a recent work trip to New Orleans. According to USCG Auxiliary Public Affairs Officer Andy Powers the number of boating accidents and fatalities has increased for the second consecutive year. A substantial number of these accidents involve canoes, Jet Skis, kayaks, rowboats, and small power boats. Full Story
Tradesperson Needed to Serve on County Home Improvement Board
The Putnam County Legislature is seeking qualified applicants to serve on the Home Improvement Board. There is currently an opening on the Board for a home improvement tradesperson to serve a two-year term. Applicants must be residents of Putnam County.
