Volunteers of all ages pitched in at the Cold Spring Tiny Tots Park's annual spring clean-up.
Parents and children alike turned out over the weekend to give the Cold Spring Tiny Tots Park a spring spruce-up. The Tiny Tots Park at McConville Park, a playground for children aged 5 and under, is a beloved gathering place for local youngsters and families. Within the park's fenced area, young children can play safely together in a fun outdoor environment. Full Story
Two Haldane Teams Win Destination Imagination State Competition and Advance to World Championship
Two Haldane Destination Imagination (DI) Teams won the New York State Championship on Saturday, April 5 in Endicott, New York. The Middle School team, calling themselves "Seven DIers in Search of a Challenge", won first place. The Elementary School team, named "The Tie DI Devils" also won at the State Tournament with a 3rd place wildcard win. Full Story

During the April 9, 2008 meeting of the Putnam Valley Board of Education, among all of the recommendations that the Budget Committee submitted to the School Board, none generated more protest and concern than the possible reduction of the Athletic Department's budget by $48,876 for the 2008-9 school year.
